The quality of the builds are better, but having an eye for proper proportions of a build has become very rare. A lot of the high end builds nowadays are goofy, or don't have lines that flow properly at all.

Other guys have said the same thing after meeting Gene and seeing his builds. Gene helps them to focus on the coolness of the build, and stop worrying about the perfection

I agree a good grind is super important, but a bench grinder can work if you use the proper grit

Just put it in a drill use right grinding wheel on bench grinder it’s same thing you can get a consistent arc flow with bench grinder too just takes more time constant pressure on tungsten

Flitz metal polish works great too. If you've got any road tar on the chrome use the steel wool to remove it and then polish it. Mother's chrome polish is great stuff also. I'm surprised Eastwood isn't pushing their own products here.
